Your diet choice can put you at the risk of a high blood pressure (hypertension), or help you maintain a healthy low blood pressure.
If you are already hypertensive, consider a meal plan that includes potassium and magnesium. It can help in  reducing  your blood pressure quickly.  The following foods should also be on your diet plan.
l Carrots
l Tomatoes and tomato paste
l Greek yoghurt
l Beans, lentils and other pulses
l Spinach
l Skimmed milk
l Fruits like kiwi, melon, pineapples, peaches, mangoes, oranges and watermelon
l Oily fishes like mackerel, sardines etc.
l Bananas
l Strawberries
l Oats
l Potatoes
l Green peas
l Broccoli
l Nuts, seeds and legumes
l Olive oil

Substitute processed sugar for  natural sugar like honey. In fact, avoid processed and fatty foods.
